Calling all hackers, developers, designers and engineers! You're invited to participate in the Samsung Electronics America Note8 Hackathon.
The Samsung Note8 Hackathon is an opportunity to educate, collaborate, challenge and motivate in friendly competition. Come demonstrate your ability to innovate and create compelling, real-world solutions, utilizing Samsung’s devices and technology.
During the hackathon, we will be running developer sessions to further familiarize you with Samsung SDKs and APIs. At the end of the event, you will be equipped with the proper tooling, technical knowledge and understanding of Samsung devices and key differentiators to continue to develop powerful B2B solutions.
Individual category winners will receive a Samsung Gear 360.
Best in show winner will receive the following:

The Best of Show Offer (“the Offer”) is open to all participants in the app developers Best of Show (“Event”). The Event takes place on November 5, 2017. Winners must be in attendance at the Event in order to be eligible to win.
The Winners shall be chosen at the Event by a panel of judges. The names of the panel shall be available on the registration page.
The Best of Show Winner will receive a trip for up to four (4) of its team members to New York, NY, consisting of the following (the “Best of Show”): (i) round-trip coach class airfare for Best of Show Winner(s) from the major U.S. airport nearest Best of Show Winner’s residence within the 48 contiguous United States; (ii) four (4) days/three (3) nights hotel accommodations (4 rooms, single occupancy); (iii) and daily per diem for Best of Show winner(s) only of $80/day for four (4) days; (iv) If a winner is under the age of 18 years old, a chaperone must attend with winner, however, Samsung is not responsible for chaperone travel & expenses associated with their trip; (v) All trip scheduled activities, sponsored by Samsung, are mandatory attendance by prize winners.
